I found it a little endearing, that we're shipping each other in a sense, actually... maybe not a constant stream of them, but perhaps one every other week, picked at random?
That being said, Pacce's comment about how the characters feel about being shipped, I've had that running around my brain for a couple weeks...

I'm 100% with Pacce about being written for by someone else. (It doesn't come up often but I've always said no.)
Now, for the few in the index, should we stick with "Fan'ship is Magic" or change to "Trip'ship" or maybe something else entirely? All the others I've come up with are way too mean.
People who use names on 4chan (or any similar site) as opposed to posting as Anonymous. Tripcodes are strings of characters after the name generated using a password so you can tell the person's the real deal.
Like I was just mentioning in the comments of one of the "problem" stories, there's a balance a publisher (and even though nopony gets paid and we all probably have other outlets, EqD has pretty much taken on this role) needs to make between granting its writers the creative freedom to produce what they feel is relevant and keeping certain works out of the public eye to prevent discomfort in the readership.
This sort of thing can way too easily get out of hand, and without a decisive market for it, there's just no reason to risk making so many visitors feel awkward. It's pretty much something that everyone needs to agree to ahead of time, and you're just not going to get that here.
Thank goodness for this! Trip ships can get out of hand VERY easily. My trip ship story was more of a joke than anything, even though it was written seriously.
Darn. Now my story won't ever see the light of day. It was gonna be about how Sgt Sprinkles goes crazy and brutally murders HFPS in his basment to later use the meat in various baked goods. Bummer, and I had just gotten to the part with the anvil. :(
@lucid (fucking iPhone can't reply properly!) I don't Think you want to Get shipped so much... I'm shipped with quite a few things (mostly RD... which is weird considering me and him Are the only ones with RL pony names... Heh...) and it's not as Cool as you Think it is.
