It was short. There, now that criticism is out of the way, I liked this story a lot. I felt like I was there, I could see the destruction of Ponyville, I could smell the burning airships and see Rainbow Dash's body language after her triumph. That one line, "I rode the lightning" gave me an image of Rainbow Dash, hair frizzled, eyes wide, knowing the true destructive power she possessed and knowing it would kill her, but willing to use it anyway.
That's just my take on it, anyway.
what? people like it? woot! my writing skills are kinda rusty after all the years, plus im not a native english speaker, but it seems i can still pump out decent story or two.

about it being short, i kinda agree. on the other hand, a wall of text would probably intimidate people. its just a fanfic after all...
