You can hear the hum of Rule 34 firing up.
And there's an equal amount of male as female parents too? >_>
Oh wow, all of them? I guess this blows all orphan theories out of the water.
Marsupials count as mammals, right?Flashfox, you can have parents and still be an orphan. They just have to be dead.
I guess this means I need to hurry the hell up and get writing before my story idea gets tossed on the flames of contradicting the canon. Damn you, pony parents. Stay nebulous and off screen where I need you.
Sounds very interesting

wow,cool. just cool. huh.
For some reason, I'm happy that nobody is an orphan and that everyone probably came from a healthy and happy home. This show does weird things to me!...wait. That isn't weird at all. Nevermind.Happy news, but considering this show's habit of surprising me, also very exciting.
NeatI wonder what future episode will involve them
I guess this does explain where SweetieBell lives when she's not crashing at Rarity's place. Though, I have to wonder where Rarity's parents happen to run off to the same night the CMC planned to meet... The opera?
@AnonymousDon't state the obvious
Well if they have magic and science then they can have in vitro fertilization.The magical gay science babies will never stop.
Good to see Lauren still routinely responding. Time to update TV Tropes, then.
/co/ will explode when the parents are revealed.
This woman. She knows exactly what to say, I tell ya. We hang on her every word, and we have let her become our Celestia. All shall love her and despair. If she said "all bronies drive/fly/swim/run to my house and dance naked for me if you want a season 2" WE WOULD ALL DO IT.
AJ and Pinkies parents will still be DEEEEEAAAAAAAAADDDDDD in my fanon until they appear in the show.the other eh sure not orphans whatever.
I knew they had parents all the time!
@AnonymousPARTY AT FAUST'S HOUSE, WHOOO
rainbowdash parents....whoooooooooooo! my body is not ready
SPIKE'S PARENTS.FOR GODS SAKE SPIKE'S PARENTS.
Wow just wow.
Dash's parents are totally gonna be super straight-laced and boring. Like, reading all the time and stuff. And she doesn't like them. But through some series of wacky events (read: plot devices!) the other ponies meet them. And they love Twilight. And Dash is sad. Then they all make up in the end.Episode 20. I'll just assume the check's in the mail, Hasbro.
This should make for a really interesting episode if they do it right. I think I'm most interested in seeing Dash's parent's, for whatever reason. I just really hope they don't shoehorn in Pinky Pie's or AJ's parents and just explain it as HERP DERP THEY WERE THERE ALL ALONG WE JUST NEVER MENTIONED THEM. I was pissed off enough when they failed to mention that Sweetie Belle was Rarity's sister until last episode.
i bet anypony $100 that RB has a little sister too, and she is scootaloo.
In order:Dash is Celestria's kid...Twilight is Luna's...And Applebllom is realy AJ's daughter.
@Anonymous I read that as "And Applebloom is really AB's daughter."Then my mind broke.
@Zarkanorf: Great, now she'll have to start calling the other ponies "all you zombies."
I always thought they reproduced the old fashioned away, after all a couple of them have grandparents seen or mentioned. I am pretty curious to see what the folks look like, as do middle aged or older ponies look much different from the main characters, (after all Applebloom's teacher was I guess a teen in the Eighties, which would make her mid-thirties or so now and she doesn't *look* any older than the name cast).
@brianblackberryShould be "any older then the main cast". Grammar fail on my part. :P
@brianblackberryI found a response on her page about pony age."I think more about maturity level more than literally age. I think of them from anywhere from 12 - 17. I use the excuse that horses age differently than humans to give them their adult independence."so yeah...
@Adrian BronyI always viewed the main cast as young adults, the equivalent of people at the end of the teens or in their twenties, but I not surprised that their physical age is different. At least they are still the young adults of their world, which makes sense with the stories. I wonder if it means they don't live as long as humans (or merely mature faster). Or if unicorns, pegasai. and earth ponies have different lifespans.
>mfw the Diamond Dogs are revelaed to be Rarirty's parents at the end of episode.
There's a species of lizards that are all female... how that works I'll never know... but we could apply it to the ponies and noone would be the wiser if we ignore the laws of physics.
Afaik, Faust also claimed that mlp mature much slower mentally than humans. So, essentially, the main cast are all adults biologically, yet still have sleepovers and pillowfights.
@AnonymousBasically they are all marechildren.
@AnonymousPfft. I'm 25, and I still have sleepovers and pillow fights. Because it's *fun*.
A couple of random predictions:1. Mr. and Mrs. Cake are Pinkie Pie's parents.2. Twist is Pinkie Pie's sister.3. The parents of the main cast are some of the original-cast ponies. (Probably won't happen, but wouldn't it be neat?)4. Twilight Sparkle is related to Celestia and Luna, but not directly -- she's a distant cousin. And there are other members of the royal family around besides Celestia and Luna (probably with sky/astronomical names)5. Fluttershy's parents will be EXTREMELY LOUD AND OUTGOING, to her great embarassment.6. Scootaloo is Fluttershy's sister.
@AnonymousScootaloo can't be Fluttershy's sister. She would have acknowledged that fact during The Staremaster.
@AnonymousAlready done. 8D
