'No Place Like Home' - MLP Radio Play Auditions Now Open!

Hi! Scribbler here, launching the casting call for 'No Place Like Home', an all new audio play from the author of 'The Heroic Tale of Heroically Heroic Heroes' and 'Playing With My Heart', and featuring an original soundtrack by Reverb Brony. In it, Lyra is accidentally transported to an alternate universe where things (and ponies) are not the way she remembers them. As she tries to get back to her own world, she becomes entangled in situations that make it clear to her that this world is no place for kids, and that one wrong move could be her last.

Smash Bros. film coming from Celestial Spark Studios

In a bit of non-pony news, Celestial Spark Studios--the creative team behind the upcoming MLP fan film "Journey of the Spark" (which is still getting made no matter what the "mercy demotivators" say)--will also be developing a little movie called "The Longest Brawl: A Smash Bros. Movie". It'll be animated with SFM and a bit of Flash, and will be open for casting later this year. Read and ask more about it here on CSS' Tumblr. Here's what it's about:

From the creators of Journey of the Spark comes The Longest Brawl: A Smash Bros. Movie, a 3D animated adventure based on Nintendo’s popular video game series.
The Longest Brawl is a high-speed action comedy set within the fictional Smash Universe, a realm that connects the different worlds based on Nintendo’s beloved franchises together. But somewhere deep within this prosperous realm, the evil Master Hand seeks an ancient relic known as the Smash Ball, a powerful weapon that grants whomever touches it a single wish.
With the fate of the universe at stake, Palutena (the Goddess of Light) must assemble together a team of six great warriors to stop Master Hand’s evil plot. Lead by the young but strong willed Ness, the six embark on a dangerous and action-packed adventure to retrieve the Smash Ball and save the Smash Universe before it falls into Master Hand’s cold… well… hands!
The Longest Brawl is helmed by Writer/Director Emma Ridenour and Edward Marmet. Producing the film is Jonathan Sirois (Executive Producer for Journey of the Spark).
The film currently features the voice talents of Hayley Nelson, Nicholas Parker, Reagan Murdock, and Sheila M. Gagne. Further casting for the project will take place later this year when writing has concluded. No release date is set at the moment.
