This pleases the Sparkle! I would have voted for Trixie, but I think being locked anywhere at all with her would result in broken eardrums and twitching forehead veins after just three hours. I am surprised Pinkie Pie came in third though, she must have gained some popularity over the last few months.

For being locked in Fluttershy or Twilight would probably be best. Dash would be annoyed, Trixie would depend so heavily on her mood and since I doubt she'd be in a good one at being stuck that wouldn't end so well.
ReplyDeletePinkie would be too energetic for just a relaxing time while the storm blows over and I wouldn't want to get shoved into a makover with Rarity.
Besides, you could always read a book with Twilight if there was nothing else to do.
And voting for Luna would be pointless, I see her all the time.

ReplyDeleteNot surprised Twilight took it all. Who better to be trapped in a house than the smartest pony in arguably all of Equestria. Though I'll admit I was torn between her and Fluttershy. I just see a lot of my personality in her, so I could see plenty of things from her point of view. It all came to a coin toss and Fluttershy got my vote.

ReplyDeleteI say it was the Element of Magic. Too much chaotic power drives ponies mad. Celestia's trying to raise Twilight with the support structure to avoid that fate while getting regular "friendship reports" that keep tabs on and give insight into the workings of the current bearer's mind.
@Clony Who knows how long the storm would last. I agree, partying with Pinkie would be a blast, but I would run out of steam long before she does (if she ever does at all.) And then, what happens after? I said in my reply that I was torn between Twilight and Fluttershy, and it's because they're two characters that I can truly relate to.

I figure on a rainy day Twilight would pull out a copy of Luna's 365,000 things to do on a rainy day (and or being trapped on the moon). All the other ponies seemed like they would be irritable or scared, Pinkie excluded of course.

While twilight isn't my favorite of the bunch, she's unarguably the most pleasant to be in the same room with for extended periods of time. Dashie would turn the subject onto herself, Rarity would be a drama queen, Pinkie Pie would drive me UP THE FUCKING WALL. Applejack would be a VERY close second to Twilight, but we'd have very little in common to talk about, and I feel most of the night would pass in bored or awkward silence. Plus she'd probably want to be more active, and I'd much rather relax. As for Fluttershy, I identify with her the most, but when it comes to being stuck with her in a thunderstorm, I think having another of myself in the room wouldn't do either of us very much good. Twilight is very calm and down to earth, and snuggling up and reading through it, for me at least, is ideal.

My reasons include, but are not limited to, her having the magic to handle any unforeseen trouble (I'm looking at you, 'Look Before You Sleep', to having the best stories to share with me. Even though Fluttershy is my favourite and most huggable pony I didn't vote for her. That's because I based it on the assumption I was just friends with the ponies, so no snuggling all night.

She's like a Cloud Master or a Storm Goddess or a crazy pony with wings that flies around changing the weather or something. Pretty clever, huh? Huh?

And besides, now that I think about it (I do that sometimes), she could probably use her scary unicorn powers to like, summon Rainbow Dash to clear the clouds and stop the storm anyway. And then there would be two ponies instead of just one.
So actually voting for Twi was pretty smart, because you also get Rainbow Dash with that one. :-)

ReplyDeleteI would have voted for Gilda, but then I remembered Sweetie Belle's adorable voice cracks and the fact that her voice actress plays Minecraft... Pulling an all night Minecraft session during a thunderstorm with the most adorable pony in all of equestria... I'm not sure I could even survive that night from all the HNNNNNNNNNGGGG! So yeah, I'd either go with that or Gilda... or Rarity.

ReplyDeleteI must be a lot sleepier than I thought, because looking at the new poll's choice of "AAAAPLEOOSA" made me laugh harder than I should have.
I chose Fluttershy because we have the same interests. :)
ReplyDeleteTwilight is the best choice from an objective point of view. Out of all the ponies she's the one who's best equiped to survive a thunderstorm. She will take out a book for playing games during storm days and have fun with it. Or she will just tell ghost stories, or stories in general. But of course, this comes from a Nerd who likes to play D&D from time to time, so...

I voted for Pinkie Pie...I know, big surprise. However any of the top three would be good. Still, would rather have more Pinkie Pie. :)
