I figured Derpy would win form the beginning and Derpy is who I voted for as well. Surprised Vinyl got such a high number of votes, wow.

Well I knew Derpy would win, but I still hope Scratch gets some air time
My vote goes for 'what sort of episode would you most like to see done'. For example, my vote would go for a day with ponies at the beach
I voted for Lyra though I knew she wouldn't win. I'm not sure how Derpy would work and I don't want the rage from when people would inevitably disagree with how she's done.
Vinyl would be a good choice though i'd like her to just show up more first.

Definitely would be nice to hear Derpy. She's always around but we haven't "heard" anything from her since "Applebuck Season." Now bear in mind I've only been around three weeks (to the day) so I'm not sure if the polls I'll propose has already been done. Maybe something about how often we comment on the posts; like do we do one comment, several, or none. Or probably which of the mane six match our own personality. That's all I can think of. Just trying to lend a hand, so forgive me if my suggestions sound like they were just spit out last minute.

That's exactly why I voted for Scratch even though Derpy is by far my favorite background pony. I think she's great as-is and giving her speaking lines might diminish from her mysterious appeal somehow.

Couldn't agree more. She seems a bit forced already.
I think Derpy is fine in her Where's Waldo role. I wouldn't like her as a real character. Scratch seems like she has more potential to be an interesting character instead of an inside joke.

No offense to out favorite wall-eyed mailmare, but I cast my vote for Octavia, with the following reasoning.
-If you think about it, Derpy already has her own custom scenes. Feeling Pinkie Keen, anypony?
-LyraxBon-Bon is about as canon as Studio B can make it without having everything and the kitchen sink thrown at them.
That brought it down to Vinyl Scratch and Octavia. In the end, it was Octavia's character design that won it for me.
I regret nothing.
