We are going to change up the Halloween event a bit. I honestly didn't think so many banners would be sent in! All the bronies in this town are CRAZY.
I'll be dropping 40 at a time, every few days, drawfriend style. As planned, the actual top of the page banner rotation will continue daily out of some of the best ones.

1,3,4,8,9,11,16,17,22,27,28,33,38,39, and 40 were the ones that I thought would make excellent banners.
But man, there are a lot of really good ones here. Although, I am noticing a serious deficiency of Luna in these banners. Only two include her and their both just pastes of the hooded vector. Also, we could have done with more Nightmare before Christmas content, don't ya think?
But a solid selection overall, can't wait for the episode. And I'm really glad EqD is doing this banner competition for Halloween, being that it is my favorite holiday.
So, anyway, keep up the good work, everyone.

I really like the vectors used in 37. Pinkamina's contemplative sideways glace at Insane Twilight is just priceless.

Just my personal opinion, but a lot of these look really lazily made. Some of them look really good though. I can see why the Soul Equestria one was up yesterday though, it's definitely the best one so far.

Okay, as far as I can see, these are the best ones and why:
#2- Because of the awesome Headless Horse.
#7- The inversion thing ala Shinning is brilliant.
#9- This one looks gorgeous.
#18- This one is great, even if it doesn't have the Equestria Daily words on it, Rainbow West is f*cking epic.
#18- I DERPED! I just noticed the "Equestria" in the image. My browser's default background is white ^_^; Sorry.
For some reason #22 scared me the most.

For the others, I say "thanks for trying!", they seemed a bit rushed or don't really fit in with the Halloween spirit.
