ReplyDeleteAccording to The Canadian National Post article, Bronies are all hipsters. lol Well, not really. It was mostly about "kids" shows being multigenerational. Which it has become. :) And of course it mentions EqD. Most do since it's one of the featured Brony sites of course.

Besides the Dash on the Youbuy site, I see other ponies in that style too. Though I'm not seeing a huge difference of them from the "normal" models. Besides the larger wings and maybe being slightly more stylized.

SM Calamba only had three FiM toys on display; the two pictured and an extra Pinkie Pie, so they might sell out before you can even get here :P
Philippines! That's where I'm from :) Those toys are over 20 US dollars. I forget sometimes that FiM is mostly being animated over there

ReplyDeleteOther toys found in toys r us in the PH are the pony playsets (fluttershy and forest critters, sweetiebelle and apple bloom playsets... ALSO kinda expensive)
and yeah, I'm kinda proud that Topdraw did an excellent job with handling MLP FIM. No wonder theyre doing season 2 as well. Not all of em but hey!

ReplyDeleteI once saw MLP:FiM toys in Toy Kingdom at the Mall of Asia, and there are different kinds, actually. There are G4 ponies and there are earlier versions too. The FiM versions have different recolors and some of them come with items (brushes, carts, pets, etc.)
