Overreact much? The commercial was made by the Hub network itself, it has no effect on the show. You don't stop using other products you like because you disagree with a commercial for those products do you?

I just thought of something. This whole song was done by Pinkie Pie's voice actress, which is fantastic. Somewhere there exists an official sound file where Pinkie Pie says 'bronies'.
