More specifically: 1 + 2 have the right overall proportions and alignment of elements, plus the ponies are a little "closer" to the viewer and the posing is more dynamic.

80s Cheerilee (GAWD SHE LOOKED SOOOO GOOOODD BAAACK THEEEEEENNN) and the rock star Crusaders are my favorites besides the mane cast, of course. And Vinyl. God, they're all beautious. *o*

I actually really like the Show Stopper CMC ones, and 80's Cheerilee. Celestia's is just plain pretty, though I'm biased on that one.
