Pinkie is adorable regardless of what form she is in. She's so fuzzy!

Feels weird that we're approaching a weekend without pony, but at least we have things like this to tide us over.

    The Thurston Herd

My name is Joshua T. Choeychan I am the founder/current president of The Thurston Herd. Our club is Thurston High School's first brony club. THS is maybe well known for the 1998 Shooting that shook our nation. Today though I am here in hopes to provide some information about my club. The story behind the creation of this club goes back to November when a group of my friends who were bronies started talking about going to Everfree Northwest 2014 and a way we can find more bronies at our school. Then I came up with the idea of forming a club at our school, just for the record though Thurston's mascot is a Colt so having a brony club kinda fits our school. Thankfully at our school we had one Lit teacher who happened to be a brony and helped us step by step in creating a club. After a week of paper work and many signatures the Thurston Herd was born. At first, our club started small with maybe 12 members max who would show and we did tiny things like make OC's or talk about the show, but as the year progressed we grew more popular in our school. It all started with our school's Anti-Bullying week, The Herd was asked to be the work along side with the peer group club to run the whole week, to me I was honored to teach my high school about bronies and take a stand against bullying. We ran our part of the week on a campaign to raise awareness of bullying by telling the students about the story of Micheal Morones. We also crafted saddle bags and wore them for the whole week collecting money for the Anti-Bullying organization, In all we made about $85. After that week was over we spent the rest of the meetings do some singing with My Little Karaoke and deciding what to do next. As the end of the year was coming news from my school counselor came in that a load of next years incoming freshmen wanted to go to Thurston High School to join the Herd. Our club is not one of the most popular club on campus, We are known to spread the word of being yourself and the true magic of friendship in the dreaded High School environment. Today our club stands with about twenty something members and we have many future freshmen joining next year.

    Commissions to Help An Artist

My best friend has been asking me to fly out and see him for a while. We really miss each other and it's been almost 2 years since I've seen him. I want to be able to fly out and let him know how I really feel about him. I know it's cheesy. I just recently sold my rare MLP:CCG cards to a friend thinking it'd be enough to buy a ticket, but now prices have raised and I'm still about $200 short. This isn't necessarily pony related, but I've started doing art/sketch commissions to earn the rest of the money. Ponies are my specialty though.

I'm asking 1.$5 for a sketch. 2.$10 for an inked picture. And 3.$15 for a fully colored picture.
