• Molded 4 Pack Finally Found in the USA!

    The Positive: It's finally here!

The Negative: It's only in states with a store called Meijer! (These in particular were located in Michigan by Saleskital

$9.99 is a lot better than $21.99 on amazon though!

Hopefully some of the bigger chains will start picking these up now, assuming they haven't been there all along... but both these and the single ones appearing within 2 days ago is pointing in a really good direction.  We might even get blind bags soon and stop having to import that crap from Germany!

    3. I preordered one of these 4 sets from a website called Entertainment Earth. They're supposed to have them in stock next month.

    6. I just wish that there was a Fluttershy figure in this toy line, and that Applejack had her hat.

      ReplyDelete
    7. Why is Applejack left out of the 4-pack? And why no Fluttershy?

I would like to think this means they're planning a second 4-pack with AJ, Fluts, Celestia, and maybe Luna or Applebloom. But they probably aren't.

    8. HA HA! There's a Meijer in my town!

    9. Finally a toy that actually looks like Dash

    10. I must of been lucky when I bought my 4 pack from eBay, it was only $17.99

Now hurry up and bring us Pony merchandise FULL-STOP to the UK. Germany and France has it, but yet again poor old England, you know the country which uses the same darn language as America somehow gets it last!!

    11. Damn you Hasbro, I want my glow ponies.

    12. They've been at our local Meijer for a while now. I've already bought two sets... Didn't know y'all ain't know.

    13. @Anonymous Yeah, they have like a huge section at our's that has almost every single thing Hasbro's released so far.

    14. huh, guess it pays to live in the midwest when it comes to feeding your pony needs. Maybe some of the midwest bronies would consider acting as middleman for some of the more desperate coastal brony's?

    15. After I saw this I stayed up all night so I could be the first one to walk in our Big Lots, I found all the ponies but Fluttershy... Awesome, but sad at the same time! Happy Pony Day everybody!

    16. I picked up these as the singles from Big Lots. Rarity and Pinkie Pie are pretty much show-accurate, though Rarity's hair is painted two-toned rather than a gradient.

Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack's eyes are more traditional G3 MLP style, but that can be easily fixed with a bit of model paint and some patience. The sculptor took some liberties with Twilight Sparkle's bangs.

Applejack is missing her freckles and hat, and has a two-ponytail mane rather than a single ponytail as in the show. Again, freckles are easily added in with a bit of paint and a hat shouldn't be hard to make or find from another doll set. I actually like the double-ponytail mane though; it makes her hair look accurate regardless of which side you pose her from.

    17. I had seen these on the shelf at Meijer, and was disappointed in their lack of Fluttershy, but I ponied up and bought them today (even before I saw this post.) 29. FOR ONCE US MIDWESTERNERS WIN! HA! I live 10 minutes from Meijer! Take that West Coast >:D

      ReplyDelete
    30. I was just at Meijer today, before taking my car in to get the damages assessed. I didn't bother to go in because I DIDN'T KNOW!

      ReplyDelete
    31. Dammit, when does this stuff come to Australia? We always get things last; movies, games and now Ponies? Fuck you Britain for putting us on this isolated, monster infested, desert covered land.

      ReplyDelete
    32. Meijer, eh? That's a Michigan store chain. I'll be visiting Michigan next month.

I wouldn't mind buying a few sets in the interest of re-selling them to bronies at the store price. I could put them up on eBay; I sell items often enough on there...

If anyone would seriously want me to pick you up a pony set while I'm in Michigan in May - provided you WILL buy them off me, since I've little money to spend on extra ponies - then go ahead an' speak up. Heck, anyone else with access to a Meijer could probably bestow upon you the same service. Anything for bronies who can't otherwise get ponies, right?

    33. @Anonymous

It's nice to actually have something here be better than on the west coast, for once in one's life.

    34. I made a site for pony toy pick up orders, which includes the 4 pack of figures you can only find at Meijer.

    35. Nooo!! I was in Novi, MI last weekend! And I was in the Meijers! We even walked past the toy section! Why couldn't this have been out last weekend when I was there?!

      ReplyDelete
    36. Just wanted to say these have been in Ohio Meijer since sometime in February at least. Though I bought my set in March. I totally didnt realize they werent in other stores.

      ReplyDelete
    37. Why is it only a four pack? Is it that much work to make all six of them and sell them together?

      ReplyDelete
    38. Fluttershy, where are you?.. Are you going to appear in this toyline?

(In Russia each figure is available separately appr. $5 per unit. But no Fluttershy, everywhere. Sniff...)
