I'm gonna take stab in the dark here and guess you were born in the mid to late 90s. Fluttershy is not dress like a hooker and Big Macintosh is not dressed like a pimp. Its just how everyone wore their manes back then.
Ah, and obviously I think she should be named Fleur. If the fandom chooses Elizabeth, eh, there are ways to work with that. (Find some way to make two words sound like "Elizabeth", ect.) I personally like Fleur de Soliel, or Fleur Soliel, because Fleur deLis sounds so... obvious? But I like the sound of that one, too.

The new gal's got a lot so quickly, so far I've heard her be called Fleur, Precious Gem, Trophy, Elizabeth, Hoof Candy and Flauntit.
I've been calling her Hangers On, but any of those names would sound good.
I like Fleur as a name for her too. Doesn't seem like a monochrome/flat character, despite the apparant trophy wife situation she may or may not be in. Especially considering Fancy Pants is definetly more rounded and clever than his stereotyped position. I take it to be that she is a companion of sorts. Reminds me of Inara from Firefly.
Is anyone else getting a strong steampunk vibe from Fancy Pants? Could just be the victorian style to the episode and the -Air-Bucking-ships- yay.

I wasn't too big on Elizabeth as a name, at first. But now, it's oddly starting to grow on me. Fleur-de-lys is more typical for a pony name, though (I thought there was a G1 pony called the same, but having checked I can't find her)
The pony with the three Fleur de Lys should bear the name Fleur, as in Fleur Delacour, a part-Veela in Harry Potter. The name and designation as a Veela pony fits so well that I see no other name that would do. Already this morning in the Twilight Sparkle room of the Bronyville livestream, Fleur was pounced upon as a name for her.

I do think she's a bit of a trophy wife though, or a hanger-on (literally, at some points).

I just love the idea of other ponies thinking "Elizabeth? Why in Equestria would her parents name her that? What does it mean anyway?" It's not a sensible name with a noun and an adjective, like proper ponies have.

1) I loved the way this pony was constantly going Vogue while Fancypants and Rarity talked. I don't have a strong opinion on her name either way.

No surprise there though. lol People seem to really take to the ponies that are modeled closer to Celestia and Luna. Just look at Allie Way and how popular she got as well. Pretty awesome stuff.
I also love Beatnik Rarity. xD And Pinkie and her party cannon. Acouple other really popular moments from this new episode. And overly-excited jumping Lyra just makes me smile too. <3

True, which is one reason I don't really think that was Celestia as that new background pony, though I do find that idea amusing. If she has been going around disguised in the series, I'd say it's more likely she's one of the clone Lyras. ;)
And am I the only one who thinks Criniere Rose is pretty enough, but not drop-dead gorgeous? Her appeal, to me, was mostly because of the way she was always striking a pose.
