Ten Mihara here. I originally planned to have a custom art attached to this story, but I had a lot of trouble getting ahold of my commissionee (she lives on the other side of the world from me). So I instead selected a suitably darkish/epic picture as a substitute. Hopefully the story meets your expectations ^^

I've never read Empty Room, so I can only say that any similarities of premise are purely coincidental. However, I lack the 'Grimdark' tag, so that's one thing.
A little too much telling rather than showing and the dialogue felt slightly off at places but on the whole I enjoyed the piece. Hope to see more!
I hope going forward we get to see a relationship grow between Luna and the Mane6, right now she seems, and understandably so since they just met, polite but rather distant. I'm also speculating that piece of magic Twilight tried to pull off will be important later as I can't imagine it being referenced that many times and then dropped.
Twilight using the true source? Careful she doesn't still herself.

yup, slightly worrying. The fic I am writing also has elements based off of that saga. If you do end up doing what I had planned then my hat goes off to you for doing it first.

Worry not; it was only a subtle reference due to the similarity of that one idea. There's no real connection to the WoT series in this fic.
