And, going by the teaser trailer, #9 shows pretty much how Scootaloo could be portrayed in the flashback episode. I would not have a problem with this.

You're the second old-timer TTA/A! fan I see in this community. I'm starting to think there's stuff about FiM that reminds us of those shows, namely.. ensemble cast with awesome character interaction, fun situations, and GOOD writing.
While I don't think FiM is quite as good as the old WB stuff was, I must say I'm loving it like crazy. :)
If they made a FiM Tarot deck Twilight would be the best picture for The Magician. Think of it having all the elements in balance, she can do magic, that would seriously be amazing. Yeah Nightmare Moon could be Death or The Tower since Death means 'a great change' and Tower is a 'severe upset of sorts'

I've seen things that match it, such as the fandom that surrounded Tiny Toons and Animaniacs back in the early-mid 90s.
This is a good sign: People are still doing TTA/A! fan art and the fanfiction only dried up a few years ago.
