Midnight Mares: Origins (Motion Comic Book) Episode 1July 19, 2023 - Midnight Mares: Origins (motion comic book) is set to premiere (pre-mare) on the Midnight Mares YouTube channel at 7PM EST on Thursday (07/20)In 2017, C. Allan Gann published the first issue of the Midnight Mares comic book, based upon the upcoming animated series, which originally premiered at 2014 BronyCon. He is now bringing that book to life, along with the animated series voice talent!While this is not the actual animated pilot episode, the motion comic book series is an alternative storytelling medium, which will be tied into the pilot episode. Most importantly, it will answer fans' burning origin questions. While those fans are awaiting the pilot episode's release in the near future, these motion comic book episodes will tell the story of Terra Steed's "further past", while also providing fans with more regular new story content! Since C. Allan is self-funding the comic books, and financial fan support is integral to the future of the remaining three episodes (as well as the comic books upon which they will be based) he has created Midnight Mares on Patreon. Once 25 new patrons have signed up during Thursday's livestream, he will be awarding random prize packages prizes to both current and new patrons. Each prize package will also include an actual first printing of the 2017 Midnight Mares #1 comic book! (signed/numbered) This book is no longer in print, which makes it a rare find! Assuming the motion comic book is well received, C. Allan plans to publish the remaining 3 books over the next year.
