That company that currently owns Toys R' Us wants to bring them back from the dead, albiet in a completely new way. A team of people is hard at work looking for the best possible way to re-deliver the magic that was Toys R' Us in it's prime. Considering how much Hasbro relates their closure falling sales, it does look like there is a market for it.
How they will go about re-opening is still unannounced and very early in the planning stages. It's a difficult task to open a new specialized brick-and-mortar retailer in the age of the big-box store and internet.
