So that happened. Apparently everyone has been moved to the courtyard Marriott across from the Crowne Plaza (where the event is being held at) while police and fire fighters sweep the area. It wouldn't be a convention without something crazy happening!
Update:
WBAP 24/7 News reports that there has been an alleged bomb and hostage threat, and SWAT were called to the scene. The fire alarm was to evacuate everyone. No confirmation that the threat is actually real, and no injuries reported yet.
Update 2: The all clear was given and people are returning to their rooms.
