As of yesterday, we can pretty much say that Trixie's dad has officially joined the cast of Friendship is Magic. With her mother appearing in the comics, the Great and Powerful One is starting to see a backstory form across the various FiM mediums.
There are still plenty of mysteries to solve though, and Trixie's past is still completely up to fanon on how it actually played out!
