• Mike Vogel Appearing at EQLA!

EQLA has another great announcement today as they welcome Mike Vogel, episode and movie writer, to this year's event in California! For those of you going, this last EQLA is going to be an absolute blast!

Get the full details after the break.

Mike Vogel currently lends his talents as a writer and producer for “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”. His accomplishments also include being an episode writer for season six, and co-executive producer and co-writer of “My Little Pony The Movie”. Mike paired up with another EQLA guest, Nicole Dubuc, to write the “Ponyville Mysteries” chapter book series under the pen name "Penumbra Quill".  Mike also wrote for an upcoming My Little Pony The Movie picture book “The Great Princess Caper”.

Before his immersion into Friendship is Magic, Mike started at Hasbro as the department head of boys' animation and action programming later being promoted to the vice president of development. He left his role to join the “My Little Pony The Movie” staff as co-executive producer. In his other work at Hasbro, Mike has worked as development and creative supervision staff for “Pound Puppies”, “G.I. Joe: Renegades”, “Transformers: Prime”, “Transformers: Robots in Disguise”, and “Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters”.

Ever the Disney fan, Mike will be lending his panel moderating talents to our “Interview with Susan Egan” panel on Sunday, November 19th, and we can’t wait to hear more about the making of the “My Little Pony Movie” on other panels.
