Ishi Rudell, the director behind the last two Equestria Girls movies, tossed this one up on Twitter. Is it another movie? Or is it the "Legends of the Everfree" project that was included in Hasbro's 2016 Entertainment Plan? Based on release cycles for the last movie, I have a feeling we will find out pretty soon.
