TF2 Pocket Applejack! No download link yet, but it's pretty neat! All 6 of the Mane Cast are planned as well.
Looks like the bronies working on the 2D pony mmo have heard the cry for male pony models. This is their first showing of the colt.
Assuming this is released, what do you all plan to make?

ReplyDeleteUnicorn Colt, for sure. I've always been intrigued as to what limits pony magic has, and I'll be interested to see the game's take on it. However, I don't expect to see many Earth ponies when unicorns and pegasi are options, so I might have to try one just to keep the few company.

Also, while you're here, I think the disconcertion level of the Everfree forest tune could be cranked up a bit. Maybe some more random moans and roars and whatever other things you had sprinkled in there.

That pocket pony is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. I kindda wanna get the game now just for that =0.

I think the modeler was going for a cutesy filly look, in which case it's entirely appropriate that AJ isn't wearing her hat. She didn't wear it until she got older.

Argh! The latest TF2 update dropped my fps to 3-5, so I can't play anymore. So cruel that Pocket AJ is released right afterwards... :\ Even using that N64-style-graphics-and-super-performance-configuration pack doesn't fix it. Grrrrr.....
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I want to go Earth Pony with the pony game, myself. Maybe. Depends on the bonuses. I like earth ponies in the show just because they have it harder. I know Lauren Faust said that they have some sort of "connection to the land" and yada yada, but that hasn't been shown at all in the show itself. AJ knows how to grow trees, that's pretty much the only evidence to back up that claim.

ReplyDeleteI want to say, though it's easy to forget, the male ponies do usually have a slightly larger build to them. Even ones who are not Big Mac (who is in a whole nother weight class altogether).

Pocket Pony? HHHNNNNNNGGGGG...I've got the diabeetus from the overload of cuteness. This made me like AJ more. I wonder if he'll give each class a different one depending on what they're most like.

The colts body was a edit of the mare the legs are 1 pixel thicker and the body is 3 pixels longer
ReplyDeleteThat colt needs more... colt on him. It's a good start. Maybe it would help to see what it looked like with secondary features (hair, tail, etc.)

i empathize with the earth pony lovers; earth ponies really don't get a whole lot of love in the show or in the OCs that get doodled up in ponibooru.
ReplyDeleteNonetheless, i might take a pegasi, if only because my two favorite mane characters are fluttershy and rainbow dash.
also, i loved pocket ponies, HNNNNNGGGGG'd through the whole thing and hope they do make class-specific ones.
