The Cutie Mark Crusade adventure style game is making some really impressive progress! They recently released a video showcasing some of the gameplay we can expect to see when it releases in the future.

Hey guys, hey EQD, this is Buf from Manestream Games.And of course, check out the video after the break!
The game is coming along nicely, if a bit slow sometimes, due to the fact that we're only three guys with jobs working on it. Right now, the engine itself is pretty much done, and we're busy drawing scenes, items and characters, creating animations and music, writing up text.. yeah, it's still a lot of work to do :) Myke's always trying to figure out new ways of pathfinding, item handling and whatever it is those programmer guys do, Orca's writing a lot of dialogue - we want every Crusader to have different things to say, about every clickable item in the game. Which are a lot of items. Meanwhile, I'm trying to keep up with drawing and composing.

It'll be nice when someone actually finishes a game. There are a lot of people developing pony games, but only extremely simple ones have been finished.

The demo was great. Fully playable for one level, and it wasn't broken or anything.
Props to whoever's ripping/drawing all those graphics.
Back in Season One, this would have caused "omigosh CMC how lame"-comments. I am honestly surprised.

I hope we'll make it until late summer, early fall, something like that. But that's really just not much more than an educated guess. Might be a bit later or way earlier, we're not really at a point where we ourselves can be absolutely sure :)

Now that is how you build a trailer that manages to hype up a game using only the barebones elements you have working early on. Damn, this looks like it's gonna be awesome. I love point and click stuff and as the 90s and early 2000s proved, it's best with fluid 2D cartoon animation.
The game looks amazing! So many locations done already. Love the CMC, love adventure games, love that version of the main theme. Awesome.
By the princesses, how many games this community makes! just everything you guys make is amazing, the amount of love and work you put into your projects is staggering. This is truly one fanbase i am proud to be a part of.
