First one was so awesome
"One Hoof Closer" had a sort charm to it. It sounds so... serious. Which kinda flips it around into silly. So it's all good.

I loled.
I didn't quite like number one; but it was a parody, so I understand why. I didn't like the original.
Number Two; the screaming. It shreds my ears. SO BAD.Even when I did like the original. Just.... no.
Number 3; The lyrics have meaning and I agree 98544323% with the message.
That being said, I'd still probably learn how to play #1 on guitar within the next week.

The Octavia song is decent. At first I thought the singing was kinda "eh", but upon listening to it again, I think the singing is alright. The lyrics are a bit short, but still good. I like them. I wonder if the heartstrings inclusion was partially for a Lyra reference. :P And you know that odd feeling when someone is singing a song with your name in it? lol
That One Step Closer parody... lol It had me giggling. Dunno if that was the intention of the artist at all, but yeah. x3 I like it, it's fun to listen to. The lyrics are kinda silly of course, but they work.
Really quite like the third one by Yelling at Cats. It has a great and funky beat you can dance to. And the lyrics are really fun too. Not to mention shout out to Octavia. Passion... you know it. ;)
The third one was awesome...I didn't care that the background noise sounded...generic...it was good!
First time in a while I've loved all three of the featured songs.
#3 Let me start off by saying, Yelling At Cats is probably the most awesome name I've ever heard. Awesome, meaningful lyrics. You also get points for the irony "we don't have songs like we did back in the day." I love classic rock, the other day I said we needed more PMV's to classic rock. Your song is rap, I don't like rap (but your's is fine).
#1 is pretty nice.
#2 i like linkin park, but this didn't really do either them or ponies justice. sorry.
#3 was nice too.
When listening to One Hoof Close I lasted only first 5 seconds after the voice started. Then I collapsed in laugher. xD I had to turn it off! lol
I enjoyed the first one more than I thought I would. Going into it as a huge Spor fan, I was sure I wouldn't like it as much as the original. I didn't like it AS much, but It still was good and much better than I expected. Good job, buddy.
