#2 feels like there will be Ponies get turned into Cider that gets sold all throughout Equestria and they rake in the millions till they slip and decide to spread progress a bit faster and derp on quality again which gets them tried in court and forced to be turned into Cider themselves as 'justice'.
Ok I went too into that one..... still doesn't change that #2 sounds really creepy...
