Sounds almost like a kind of back story.
I really never do get what people see in trixie. I'll read this and maybe the I'll understand.
I think the begininng could have used a bit of internal monologue and a bit less omniscient narrative but I still found it interesting overall

@Kranbe Its been said before so I'm just paraphrasing here, but Trixie is a deeply flawed character with no canon backstory, so there's plenty of room for fanon to imagine her descent and or redemption.
What (who?) do I have to do to get myself promoted to a javascript void (0) author instead of just regular type?
All kidding aside, very nice.
I might recommend a looser line spacing for ease of use, but that's just window dressing.

Definitely do want more of this story. Its good to have a back story now I can view her in a better light then I have been.

Needed more showing and less telling, it would have been nice to see more details of things like Trixie's performance at the start, showing things like the reactions of the crowd, her failing to pick things up, ect.
You've set up the stage beautifully, so to speak. Now I'm eager to see where the story's heading!
You're certainly doing *something* right: I'm completely heartbroken over Trixie and the bind she's in. Please keep posting more, I need to know she'll be all right ;-)
