But you must have gotten a bad exposure or something because the cutie mark is all wrong. Attached is a photo taken at a party a few months ago. Hey! Penny Arcade finally did a comic with Derpy Hooves.  This was during their audience suggestion thing they do each year.  Apparently an overwhelming majority asked for Derpy to be included.  Have a quote from the Penny Arcade Site:

"The strip we made at the Create a Strip Panel, complete with a Derpy Hooves crowd request, is somewhere in transit as I write this.  When the show closes down, it’s like a disaster movie in a lot of ways; a lot of people running to escape debris which is falling in slow motion.  I think Kiko has it, but I can’t be sure; my only hope is that he made it out alive."

Pinkie Pie paraded around Seattle too at one point, along with a bunch of PMV's showing up during various concerts.  Sounds like we are slowly taking over the convention scene!

Why are these so amazing?  I think out of all the different Youtube pony communities, the ones that modify anime/cartoon/show openings are some of the most talented.

Italian Episode One + Opening

Apparently that TV spot from a few days ago actually was the intro song.

I'll be honest, I like the lack of a "My Little Pony" jingle at the start.  That has always been a hurdle for me in showing friends the series.  It pretty much always elicits groans. The rest of the song is great, but the first 5 seconds are always difficult! I was also told by Cereal that I only like it because I like anime, so maybe it will click for those of you who are in the same boat.

In Italy, they apparently split each episode up to 10 minute segments, so only the first half is out right now.  You still get to see a few of the mane cast voice overs though.

Mane Six Pony Cores in Garry's Mod

Yep, it was only a matter of time.

I've seen a Pinkie Core before, but never all of the ponies together. There's a demonstration after the break, but each core randomly spouts lines from the show. If you put them all together, it's quite a cacophony. The creator also says he's going to make the extra characters (that have lines, of course) at a later date.

The Source engine is looking really dated, by the way.
