    2. it seems... sorta unresponsive, but responsive at the same time.

    3. Oh, as a note: I count no less than 10 hearts in that title...

      That's a lot of love...

    5. If anypony is wondering, it appears it respond to the RELEASE of the key, rather than simply pressing it

    6. @PhysicallyPossible Nope, there's ten. (Don't forget the 'I' in "Iron Pony" and the hearts in "Pony")

    7. Not related to this post, but on twitter it says there was a post for the 3rd NaPoWriMo pep talk, but it doesn't appear to actually be on the site, and the link on twitter leads to "Page Not Found".

Was it deleted for some reason, or am I just having a weird night with Twitter?

    8. The tug of war game can be won by simply hitting ALL OF THE ARROW KEYS AT THE SAME TIME.

      It's a pretty buggy game...

    9. I have to agree with Mattatatta, it felt buggy, and slow.

    10. I count 11: 8 in the Iron Pony Challenge title, and 3 in the MLP logo.

    13. Heh, Tug of War was difficult until I mashed on ALL THE BUTTONS.

    15. Yeah, 3rd place on the long jump for a couple minutes!

    16. Kind of chunky, but a fun diversion. I have to admit the graphics were rough, but I appreciate seeing something besides Desktop Ponies for once.

    17. @Sandman

Yeah, I had 3rd place for a bit with 986 then someone bumped me down to 5th lol.

    18. hitting Z over and over with your left hand crossing over to hit the up button was... rather difficult too... But was fun I guess...

    19. It needs more work with the controls.

    20. meh, needs work. I hated trying to mash the 'z' key, feels so unnatural. Also would've preferred if they used vectors, the MSpaint designs just don't look that good.

Overall, not bad(better than I could do), but it really feels like it could use some more work.

    21. This game kinda sucks. Further evidence that all great pony games REQUIRE horror. That last pony game could've been pretty mediocre if it didn't have the Blank Flank Ending.

BTW yeah, why is the title FULL of hearts and pink like that's what we like about My Little Pony for being so damn girly or something.

    22. A little rough around the edges. but not too bad overall. The Rainball Bounce game, I dunno about the ball just bouncing off-screen. And the Tug-o-war you can win easily if you just press all the arrow keys at once it seems. :P

    23. At the tug of war, I'm losing, so what do i do?
      mash ALL THE BUTTONS!

    24. Thanks for playing everypony! Thanks for posting this too Cereal. I appreciate it. ^^

It's nice to have heated competition on the scoreboards again. I hope you all have fun. The overall game was inspired by Hyper Olympic for the Famicom. It was kinda my muse so that's why the game may seem a little dated. ^^

Personally, I'm pleased with how it came out, but I'm kinda biased. It's a shame I cannot look upon it with fresh eyes. For the time being, I just can say, practice. I sucked at some of the events at first, but with practice I can not quite dominate, but give a good college try.

After some time, any issues that just seem to be infuriating people, I'll try to address.

      Thanks everypony! You're the best!

    25. A> The scoring is invisible during gameplay. This is a massive negative to the appearance of competition. There is some scoring shown in the game, but nothing indicating how it relates to the overall score at the end of the events. This is about as negative a design flaw as Sonic Colors grading you more for being slow and meticulous about exploiting powerups than clearing a level with speed and skill. As it is, there's very little reason to play the game more than once. It's extremely hard to tell if one's making progress without outright doing all of the events again.

B> All the same flaws that were there the first time I played it are still there. The last game should put a cool-down before accepting directional inputs, or automatically consider an input wrong for pressing the wrong key in tug of war. Every game responding to key-ups should be responding to key-downs. The instructions for events might be better written by teaching someone the creator knows in person to play each game, and asking them to describe in their own words how the game works.

C> It's a nice effort that needs polish. It's playable, and entertaining for a few minutes, but it doesn't quite match up with NES/SNES/DOS Olympic-type games. (I'm not going back through the library of Atari 2600 games to see if there's one there, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is one there to draw design ideas from.)

    26. @Retl

Thanks Retl! Commenting here after you commented on my DA when the game first went up weeks ago. Thanks for the support! It's nice to have such a fan of the game.

I appreciate the feedback, those Olympic games are fun too. Don't forget California games for the 2600!

The scoring is pretty intuitive, it's really easy, do your best at an event and you'll get a good score! Couldn't be easier than that.

Timed events just go as fast as you can and everything else, get the highest score! Easy! There's no secrets here!

Thanks again for playing man, I appreciate it. Keep practicing!

    27. @Octavia

Thanks for the feedback Octavia! ^^ Glad you're enjoying it. The ball bounce used to bounce on the edges of the screen, but the general consensus of testers was to remove it to make it more challenging.

I'll look into the bug with the tug 'o war and fix it when I get home. It should have been addressed in the code already, but the testers kinda quit on me at the end so it didn't get a proper test. ^^

      Thanks!

    28. Sounds like fun, until you actually play it and can't win anything...since it's either too hard or the controls are buggy.

    29. Hey everypony! A few tweaks that were requested have been made to the game. ^^

      Have fun!
