But... this time it's an intentional representation of Pinkie's mind!

Is it weird that I'm stuck due to laughter from the "Rocky tried to move, but toppled over" line? I've been hung up there for about 2 minutes now. At least this seems to be a great fic so far.

ReplyDeleteMan, too many stories have been downers lately, even the ones that are otherwise 'normal'. Utter brilliance here, lots of laughter.
This was cute honestly. Sometimes the writing comes off as rushed or childish, but I think that was the intention of this piece. 5 stars for putting a stupid grin on my face and keeping it plastered there.

Aw man, that was utterly delightful to read especially after reading so many damn grimdark fics. You got Pinkie's whimsical train of thought down pretty nicely, which is a feat all in itself... Who knew behind her apparent insanity, lies a great mind that could rival even Dr Whooves'?

-I'm sure it's not actually the machine (heh, waffle iron ;)), but in fact her innate Quantum 'Reality-Altering' Powers that are doing everything... she just need(ed) a focus, to allow it to consciously make it work. :)
... the scene with Pinky Pie and 'young' Luna is pretty good. Again, it's light and funny, and quite like how children/foals would play :) ...

(But seriously... in many stories, she's shown has a supposedly smart and cunning Ruler, but many authors allow/make her do rather illogical decisions that aren't what one would call very ''smart''. So, here it's refreshing to see Celestia using her brain and logic.)

Read this just before I went to work. Made my day. The image of a big brain wearing it's "Thinking Cap" and "Smartie Pants" was just too much.
