Rarity...Definately, BEST PONY!!! She's awesome. Everything she does is hillarious and seriously Generosity has to be the most important element of harmony. All the Mane six are awesome, but Rarity is Best Pony :)

Twilight is definitely the bottom of the mane 6, nothing about her is that interesting imo, shes just there to play main character, maybe except when she snaps and turns to ponyta/rapidash. She reminds me of myself probably the most out of them all, isn't much into being social and gets into embarrassing predicaments due to lack of social skills. But yeah, she may be like me, but sorry I just don't see much about her compared to the other ponies.
(Holds up flame shield) Probably Pinkie Pie for #5, sure she's weird and kinda funny at times, but gets annoying pretty quick for me at times as well. She just doesn't serve much outside of comedy for me. Let the flames begin.
Rarity for #4. She didn't start really interesting at the beginning of the series, but I started to grow fond of her by the middle to end of season 1. She definitely shines in episode 19 when she owns those wild dogs and gets them to do work for her.
Now it starts getting tough for me to pick. I'll probably go with Applejack for #3. She definitely reminds me plenty of myself, as we're both raised in the deep south (well as south in ponyville you can go lol), and has a good work ethic like I do. I like the rivalry between Applejack and Rainbow Dash in some episodes. She's definitely top contender material.
Fluttershy for #2. She is a fine example of a great dynamic character. She has a quiet/gentle side of her, and if she's greatly pressured depending on the situation can turn into a courageous pony who will stand up for herself and her friends. The last episode definitely presents a different side to her, when she becomes psychotic and demands the animals to love her. She's a great and lovable pony, definitely belongs in the top 3.
Not much surprise since I revealed the last 5, but Rainbow Dash for #1. She's definitely badass personified, definitely what most guys want to be. She's definitely the pony that most guys can connect with, she's the pony that would be part of the fellas if more of them were present in ponyville. I respect her drive to be the best flyer, and she lets nothing get in her way to achieve her goals. I could write a long essay on why Rainbow Dash is awesome, one short paragraph just isn't enough. I really never thought I would ever see an awesome my little pony character in my life, but the impossible has happened. As in the (partial) words of the double rainbow guy, she's the baddest f**king rainbow I've ever seen. Easily #1 by far.
