Is click for full broken or just me?
and sorry its my first first and the link don't work
Sherlock? I'm there
I am clicking and no FULL!!
I quite like the BBC's Sherlock, although I hated their Moriarty. Is there more than the image above? Because "click for full" doesn't show any more.
Link iz a lie :<
Okay good, not the only one with a bad link.
Trixie, have you no heart?!
Show-accurate Trixie is best Trixie. The Sherlock reference proves this.
This comic taken from the episode "The Diamond Dogs of Baskerville."I loved Season 2 of Sherlock <3 And this comic is amazing, well done PixelKitties.
Wait... has Season 2 of Sherlock been made available in the States? I'm not wild about having jokes from it spoiled before I've even had the chance to see it.
Love Pixel's comics - though I did just spend quite a while trying to read Trixie's newspaper =/
Trixie readin a newspaper and giving advice would be something.
I love how Trixie just tells the pinecone pony to leave. I wonder where they went... XD And Bonbon... awww. And that last panel, oh my goodness, Trixie. lol Poor Applebloom.
I've never watched BBC's Sherlock. Based on that comic, he seems like a dick.
@FreezingShock He is a huge dick, but he's still likeable. I can't really explain it, but the show does a really good job of making him likeable and a dickhead at the same time.
@FreezingShockHe is a dick. Much like Dr. House, also based on Sherlock Holmes, is a complete dick too. It's part of their charm.
@FreezingShockHe was a dick in the original works by Doyle too. Watson existed pretty much entirely to get insulted and called a twat by Holmes. Then Agatha Christie copypastad it for Poirot and people still were happy. Never understood that.
We Brits are good at this stuff and drinking tea. What else could you possibly need
This comic is hilarious! I do wish it went along with the pinecone meme... But that's just me.
CURSE YOU, NETFLIX, FOR ONLY HAVING THREE EPISODES!
Hahaha great comic, though wonder if we shall ever hear about what happened to the Apple parents. For that matter same with Fluttershy's and RD's.
@Select FewWell thats out of a total of six. So half isn't bad.
@Sgt Byrd Yes, but he did have some redeeming qualities on the original books... something I don't recall seeing both on the series and on the films.
Huh. Reddit IS faster than Equestria daily....
@HarwickReally? I thought Moriarty was awesome, the dude's acting was just superb. And if you haven't seen this show, you should definitely check it out. I can safely say it's one of the best things on TV atm.
I AM SUCH A FREAKING FAN OF THIS SHOW!!!!! Dx I hate that other people discovered a really awesome fad about a year after me AGAIN :'( stupid awesome shows why can't I have them to myself
Two of my favorite things in the same place! Sherlock and Ponies FTW! :D
@FreezingShockAs people have said, he i a dick, but in a great way. He's a genius who operates on a whole other level to everyone else around him, so he's arrogant and cold and a little bit full of himself.Watson's there as a more regular guy to puncture his self-satisfaction when he gets too pompous. Which is always. The show works so well because Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) and Martin Freeman (Watson) work so well together, it's really worth a look.
@herpyderpyI've only seen the one episode from the first season in which he appeared, but I found the whole take on the character completely nonthreatening and unconvincing. He struck me as a flamboyant Joker-ish character, which totally goes against the idea of a criminal who manages to control everything without anyone even knowing he exists.
Tee-hee, a Sherlock reference! Trixie's the perfect Sherlock.
And I love how the Flim-Flam brothers have given Pixelkitties an excuse to roll out every piece of awesome thirties conman language going.
@HarwickAh, I think after you watch season two you'll start to warm up to the character. His performance in the last episode of season two was definitely what sealed the deal for me. His line readings were just awesome, and the acting was so slimy and menacing.I've seen some people have say he was too flamboyant and cartoony like you pointed out, but I was definitely a fan of how he played it.
This wound up making my day, I thought Sherlock was cancelled last year and didn't realize when season 2 aired. Such a brilliant show. Sadly, I can't find it on tv anywhere in the US...
@Tears of a ValedictorianExcellent point.I'm no expert in 30's stuff; but still, every time someone mentions those sorts of references I find myself looking it up on Wikipedia. Confound these ponies, they drive me to learn!
@herpyderpyFair enough. I'm looking forward to seeing the second season either way.
Makes me wonder what Sethisto's question might be
Trixie, that's... that's horrible.
I don't like Trixie at all, but this comic is awesome. Not only does it remind me of the actual Sherlock Holmes, but it makes Trixie cool in the process. I guess Holmes has that effect on some ponies.
