Pony Podcast to Appear at Chattacon 37

"Friendship is Madness Podcast (Pio, Flatline and Hawk) is to appear at Chattacon 37 @ Chattanooga ,Tennessee between January 20th-22nd. They will be also livestreaming a Q&A panel & doing a live podcast while at the convention.

Valley. We watched "Family Appreciation Day," played My Little
Pony:Trivia is Magic, and watched a bunch of PMVs. It was just a good

Seth, After Doing This For Two Days I Have Even More Respect For You Than I Already Did


When I first started watching ponies back in early January, I didn't really know what to expect. I'd seen it floating around and I thought it might be worth checking out, so, on a whim, I watched the first episode. Then the second. And so on until I'd seen everything that had aired up to that point. I was enthralled.

I hung around /co/ for a bit, and it wasn't long before I heard of a place called 'Equestria Daily'. I checked it out, and it seemed pretty neat. A nice way to keep up with the fandom. I bookmarked it immediately.

A month later, I found myself checking the website every single day, usually just keeping it open constantly in a tab. It had overcome every other pony site to be my prime source of news for the fandom. I had even begun sketching out an idea for a story I hoped to submit there one day.

And so it continued. Ponies became a larger and larger part of my free time, and it exposed me to music, styles of art and literature, and people that I never would have otherwise met. I attended a few meetups, tried my hand at making custom ponies, and, of course, watching the new episode religiously. I made some new friends that I treasure dearly and exercised my creativity for the first time in my life. I've had amazing experiences in the last year.

Throughout it all, I had Equestria Daily, which connected me to all kinds of things that I otherwise would have had overlooked.

That's why I wanted to become a blog author. I wanted to give something back.

So, thank you, Sethisto.

Thanks, Cereal, Phoe, Tek, and everyone else who works so hard every single day to keep the blog running.
