Dear god, I was snickering the entire time I read any of Spike's monologues. You PERFECTLY captured the essence of that particular Calvin & Hobbes story and matched it well to the MLP characters.
All it needs now is illustrations...comic artists! GET ON THIS!!!

As soon as I read that it was an adaptation of the Tracer Bullet character from Calvin and Hobbes I had to read this.
Hard-boiled Spike? Hooray! Hard-boiled Spike! That story was fun. I loved Spike's monologues.

Heh... this was cute, and a fun little diversion in the afternoon. Well done.
It was cute, but there was very little original content. I recall the exact Tracer Bullet story you were spoofing, and about the only differences are 1.) There's no broken vase, 2.) Twilight played both the client and the goon at the end, and 3.) It was a game of tag instead of a game of football.
By the pic this has the be a LA noire ( forgive me if i misspelled it ) crossover
