Me, I justify doing something like that by imagining a fake sub-universe based on the characters of the main universe. Separate from the main universe where everyone is as sexually active as the French.
That's a stereotypical generalization, but it helps imagining a pure, clean Universe A alongside a terrifyingly lewd Universe B, which satisfies my own desires while not interfering with my enjoyment of a series.

You see, these ponies are well developed by the show's creators to the point where they have extremely realistic personalities, and that is what cloppers are really clopping toward. they would like to relate to the characters more, as they became attached to the human aspects of the ponies.

Numbers 1 and 6 were my selections; I've been trying to convert my mother and sister to the colt of pony for some time, and they've been remarkably good-natured about my obsessiveness. It hasn't had much effect so far, although I suspect my mom is beginning to weaken; I got her to watch Dragonshy, and although she didn't seem terribly impressed with it she did later spontaneously ask me for a bit more information on the show and its fandom. She'll succumb sooner or later. All will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. Friendship is magic)

How about this... I recall earlier there was a poll posted along with a picture or something. The image contained Trixie and some OC colt coming out of a portal and it posed the question to viewers "Trixie shows up in a portal offering you the chance to become a pony and be transported to Equestria. There is no going back." or something like that. Of course the predominant response was 'Yes', and so it became apparent that the majority of bronies would have no problem becoming ponies themselves and would rather prefer it to being human.
Now, I ask you this: if this is the case, and you were to become of the same species identical to already extremely humanised ponies, would you still find it wrong to feel sexual towards them even though given the circumstances there'd be nothing more natural? If you were to accept the life of a pony you'd have to accept the nature of reproduction.
Of course you deny this and dismiss it as disturbing and creepy. Because you're human? Or because they're just dumb, flea bitten horses with no ounce of human characteristics? Or both?
tl;dr: If there are people who are willing to go that extra step when it comes to loving MLP, just leave them alone. They're not zoophiles, just people who can see beauty in cartoon ponies that are 0% resemblant of any real animal.

Anyway, controversy aside, I suppose I should explain more what sort of fan I am. I selected "annoy everyone" (even though there is really only one person I think I truly annoy with my neverending pony talk), "all my free time doing pony things" (Not all of it, but most of it, and I really have nothing better to do). My wallpaper is Rainbow Dash (it was Luna a few days ago) and the icon for my music collection is filly Scratch.
Also, I've made one PMV and am working on a second, but it's taking a long time because I am really trying to go all out with it and push AVS to it's limits. I'm in the middle of writing 2 fanfics. One I will probably never finish. The other I haven't touched in months mainly because of my schedule and the PMVs, but I hope to finish it eventually, though it won't be any time soon.

Haha, maybe that was a tad exaggerative. The resemblance lies in the body shape, that's it. The four leg structure's there but it's only a foundation for all the human traits stacked on top. The tail's there, but I'm not going to flag that out since people often think tails are kinky and whatnot al a bunny ears or whatever.

Na. The effect already existed before Rule 34. That's why rule 34 was made, yknow. Because whatever the hell you look for on the internet, there's always porn of everything.
It's just inevitable. It's like a law of nature. If something becomes slightly popular, someone will get the idea to make porn of it. Sp I mean, it's not a 'rule' as in someone HAS to make it, but someone WILL make it and nobody can really stop it from happening.

Ahah, but the point still retains its validity. I'm talking here about the notion of being a pony, I apologise for not making that clearer. People seem to be okay with the *notion*, in which case if they were to possess any sensibility at all, they'd be okay with any other associated notions, namely pony-to-pony relationships.

I was vaguely annoyed that the last poll didn't have an option for those who read a lot of fanfiction. I care a lot more about those than PMVs. That's what "Other" is for, I guess, but still.
On the new one, I voted Fluttershy. Storms seem to always happen at night when I have to get up early the next morning. I imagine Fluttershy could sing me to sleep no matter how loud the storm is. Plus, if it's a bad storm, she might get scared and I'd have to comfort her. Wouldn't that be adorable??

Off-topic: Hey guys, the Hub's naughty and nice poll is already in round 2, and both Discord and Pinkie made it, they also seem to have added a system that only lets you vote 10 times a day or something, that should make things easier and more fair :D
Back on topic: The new poll about the storm has reset I think due to RD being added, I still go with Pinkie though, lol.
Well, as fun as it would be to visit with Pinkie Pie, I'm not sure my apartment would survive the experience. The setting favors a pony with less energy, and mutual enjoyment seems most likely with Twilight. Wonder what she'd make of my computer....
I do not understand clopfics, but all sexual perversions are humiliations. Can't see the point in making people feel even worse by poking at it. Personally, I believe this is best left to God, who casts down the proud, but will not permit the bruised reed to be broken.

Again, the aim of my argument was to express the general acceptance of the notion (important word) of such a thing. I'm fairly sure most bronies, if faced with that decision except with full viability, they'd decline. =P
Although I disagree when you say the worlds are pretty parallel. Happiness is like, 70% more occupant over there I'm sure. heh.

@DeRockProject I know lots of people have trouble tolerating things like this, but we should still try. It's exactly because of how others react that we should know better. I don't necessarily expect everyone to tolerate things like this, but I expect them to at least try.
I'm a bad pony fan... I keep it secret. I own nothing that people might possibly notice. I selected "I don't talk about it much" on that poll.
Or maybe I'm a good pony fan. Last night I dreamed I went on an adventure with Derpy Hooves. BEST DREAM EVER.
