I liked this one a lot. Nice slice of life feel. It worked well. I remember watching Cheers on TV. Was my second fav show right after M*A*S*H*.
This was a fun read. I think I'd be funny to see Discord walk in, maybe Celestia binded his powers so he can live free, and go to bars...

I was waiting for Norm to show up, but sadly this was not the case. At least it had Ted Danson in it. Anyway great parody, it gets a solid 4 out of me. What I love about TV parodies as opposed to movie parodies is that they can go on forever and need not follow the plot, seeing as their written on an episode by episode basis especially sitcoms like Cheers.

Hi guys, author here. I'm glad to hear you all like it! This was my first attempt at a fan-fiction ever, so I was nervous the whole time this was on here, but I'm glad it got the response that it did.
To clear some things up, this is not really a Cheers/MLP crossover fic. I've always thought of doing a story with bartender in it, and I like Cheers, so that's why I chose the name for the story.

I imagined all of Barley's lines sounding like Brad Pitt in Snatch or Sean Patrick Flanery in Boondock Saints.
Good writing entertaining plot, and nice OCs, with a perfect amount of d'awww Trixie.

Well I finally got around to reading this and I was not disappointed whatsoever. While I was unsure as to what to expect when I first saw it here, I am glad that I took the time to read the story and to be honest, you got me hooked. I hope to see more down the road.

I hope the cliffhanger means there won't be a 2 month gap between chapters this time. Either way, I am really enjoying this fic.

Love the Frazier Crane reference, but your second chapter didn't have much action or anything interesting aside from the letter thing and the vinyl scratch tapes joke/reference.
