I had an idea while doing this. If I toss an "update" in the comment section of each post, it would technically send subscribers an email. How many of you would use something like that? (That would be on top of this of course, before you freak out!)

I know at least new stories and stories that receive their final update get their own posts, and I suspect 6 star stories don't get lumped in here. Beyond that I really don't know.
Of course, after I say that I notice there is a 6 star story in here....

It goes by the time of day and such really. Near the end of the day the stories that didn't get updated get put in a big update post like this. Essentially it's mostly just luck if you end up in the update post or get your story's post bumped.

@jimmynator Sweet Celestia it hasn't even been a week yet! Not to mention the last one was 20k words! And he doesn't even have an internet connection at home last I checked because Comcast was double-billing them and they cancelled. He composed that chapter after hours at his place of work, but the boss says es no beuno because the bandwidth is needed for something else and why am I telling anybody this it's all right there in the author's notes on chapter 10.
Oh so yeah typically he posted one chapter every weekend, only missing a couple of weekends due to work or to take a break from writing.
