I really wish I could watch this show and understand what all these fics reference.
Now that's a rather... random story. I can definitely see some beginning and it seems to end um... if this is an end, it seems to end in a beginning of a loop. All I can say is this: weird and random.
Just about all of New Who is on Netflix instant, Narwhals. Except for the current series. I don't think there's very much on the net, as the BBC is pretty quick with the takedown notices, but I'm sure you can find it somewhere. The beeb has full episodes on their site but they're region blocked so you can't stream them outside of the UK.

Thanks. Now I have to watch an episode and maybe I'll understand a fraction of what this stuff means.
I don't hate this, but it just fails to do anything. maybe something big is planned for future chapters, but as it stands now it is just a lot of nothing-going-on presented as if something big is about to happen.
tl;dr: ok, but not notable in any way.
I can tell from far away that it's probably a pony version of THAT episode!
And now I'm sad..............
Loop-de-loop time travel. Not a typical Doctor Who method. This is going somewhere, but it's quite vague right now.

And no, this is definitely NOT the end, not at all. I admit it does seem sort of random, but the second part SHOULD be better.
I liked it. It wasn't just a pony-fied verson of Girl in the Fireplace(Which I was glad to see) and was tied together nicely. It was a nice bite-size length and left it open for new stories.
well it would be hard to use LUNA of all ponies to do the girl in the fireplace exactly the same considering...you know, that luna doesn't age very well...

However, I realize that the shipping tag is sort of unnecessary for the first part, and may remain unnecessary. Oh, and nice picture choice by the way sethisto, happens to be one of the few Doctor Whooves pictures on here I haven't seen on here already.
I'm assuming this is based off of Doctor who Season 2, Episode 4? The episode in which Lenore's bedroom fireplace serves as a door between the 51st century and the 18th?

Very loosely. The basic idea of the fireplace being the door is a reference to that episode, but otherwise no.
A lot of hate :X I will give it a read over. This will be the first Doctor Whooves story I've read so I'm hoping for good things. No Torchwood crossovers yet though :X

ok in part three, when rarity asks, "Doctor, are you sure this will work?" why doesn't the Doctor respond, "Aha, i have no idea!"

He says "Ope!" which is supposed to be "Nope" but he has a screwdriver in his mouth.
For those of you looking to get into Doctor Who, you're going to want to start with the "new Series" AKA, the episodes created after 2005.
You can tell if its the new series or not by the logo.
The old logo has the words "Doctor" on of the word "Who". However with the two different new series logos, they Words are next to each other instead of on top of each other.
I had to give up with this, which is sad.
As far as I can tell, the scene jumps between two different timelines frequently. This is not indicated, and was confusing as hell when the doctor is suddenly in a different place mid-conversation.

It doesn't seem to bother explaining when a scene changes and tries to cram in WAAY too many ideas too quickly....
Actually, it's very much like the Doctor in that respect!
