I first called him Doctor Whooves, but I realized since so many people like pairing him with Derpy Hooves, it was kinda weird having two characters with such similar names, so I started calling him Doctor Whoof.
Besides, when making my Doctor Whoof logo, it's much easier to have less letters to cram in.
This is the maker of these plushies. I can't believe these keep making it onto Equestria Daily! ^__^ I'm really glad people like them so much. I'm gonna try and make as many of the characters as I can!

what would be nice is a tutorial on how to make these kinds of plushies. so i could like make my own
I'd definitely buy one preferably without the bowtie as I seem him as more based on 10 and because Doctor Whoof should just be naked.
