This is... really, really, REALLY good! I'm feeling inspired... and I have some ludicrously long layovers with my plane trips this weekend... *looks thoughtful*
Now that's a good story! Very well structured. The 'nightclub' was especially descriptive and a good read. I'm floundering through writing a fic of my own that, after reading yours, shares some common elements. But not a lot and different enough that I think I'll just plow ahead regardless.

"Ponies of the night"? So Luna is the goddess of raves? I'm totally down with that.
Some of the language seemed a little bit stilted. Especially near the beginning. Mainly in that there were too many sentence fragments. Kind of like this. It still gets your point across. However, it breaks up continuity.
In the future, just try to make some of the sentences and descriptions flow together, and it'll be perfect.
Other than that, it was a great story. The descriptions were fantastic and I could vividly picture what was going on. Plus, I always love Luna stories. <3
What does the hair braid mean? I keep thinking it's supposed to have some significance, but it's never explained.

it was a piece of lunas hair transferring some sweet alicorn powers to pinky. i think :S
The braid thing... I asumed the pink braid was a lock of fluttershy's mane that pinkie was wearing as a symbol of their relationship.
And at the end it's a lock of luna's. So... pinkie dumped fluttershy to hook up with the princess?!
I dunno about this fic. I got bored halfway in, and I think it was due to a lack of conflict, either internal or external. As a descriptive piece I guess it works, but I thought it felt like the epilogue to a larger story rather than a standalone.
