I enjoyed this story! It felt like an episode. And yes I was waiting for the winners before I read any of them :)
I rather enjoyed the bit with Trixie's "moment of glory".
This story was a LOT of fun. As others have said, it did feel like an episode- it was just light-hearted enough, filled with whimsy and wonder. I always like interaction between Spike and Twilight. The continued asides about Celestia were also a lovely touch.
This was very good, I'm surprised it doesn't have more comments and a higher rating.
The structure was solid, the character were, well, in character, the dialogues were fresh an funny and the overall humor was good, keep up the good work, I'm lookong forward to read more of your stories!
