I have to admit, this scene is growing on me. I think it surpassed Pinkie Pie's after watching it a few times. I have regained my love of Rarity at least.
The simple fact that she was dragged by her horn for days to a rock filled with Equestria's version of sand should have been good enough to keep Rarity's back story just below Twilight's.
This comic (and the previous one Don_ko uploaded) makes me think about a fanfic, that simulates a WhatIf kind of event, where the Sonic Rainboom never happened...
