I don't see why they are trying so hard for their cutie marks. A cutie mark does not represent everything you are capable of, just the most defining aspect of your personality. (Which you have to accept as a unique part of yourself, also some ponies have the same cutie marks as others. If you look carefully for a second Photo Finish has Twilight Sparkles cutie mark, it's either A a goof or B the mark means something different for her as she has 'Da magics'.)

I had a lot of fun editing this. Vanderblast's characterisation of the CMC is absolutely spot-on, and I can totally see this as the plot of an actual show. Ms. Faust, are you reading this? Buy the script! Make this canon! :)

Yea I thought so as well, but I decided to just work with the fact that he could be male.Especially since we don't exactly know if their muzzles differ when they're that young.
