That's very beautiful and fun. It's neat to see what having a little hope of love can do for someone. After her transformation the heartbreak got to me. The others rallying for her, knowing the good inside, was simply fantastic.
For the technical side, the style is light and easy to absorb, and while reading through I didn't spot any typos — though mostly I was paying attention to the story itself. Still though, you obviously put some effort into polishing it for us. It's also nice to see good formatting with breaks between paragraphs and whatnot.

You can tell it's based off some sort of story book. It's written almost exactly the same as one (and just as good).
