It's not like Fluttershy was being snobbish or anything. I will admit that she did went a bit too far, but Rarity did ask for it (I mean she completely pushed her into saying what she thought)...
The "Fluttershy hate" will go away, it's probably just samefags bringing it up over and over again so it doesn't reflect the fandom's stance on her. I mean look at all the people calling Rainbow Dash an unlikable, total jerk yet all the polls and that survey shows that she's the all around favorite pony.
"Samefag" is NOT the answer to everything, Stop treating it as such.
Also the only reason Rainbow is liked so much is because everyone has been reading shipping fics with her, which portray her in a MUCH more favorable light than the show.
In the show Rainbow is blunt, sometimes a bit mean and a tad selfish. In the fics she is almost Mary-sue like, and loves everyone.
Now that I think about it, Rainbow Dash is basically one step away from Gilda.
Can we add to the kill count, or did Fluttershy survive? I think Mad Max once mentioned that she couldn't bring herself to kill Fluttershy. But this is about as close an implication as you can get.
About Rainbow Dash, if he only one step from Gilda, this is a big step. He can be sometime a bit mean and a tad selfish but she never really desire to hurt someone feeling. Also she is bluntly to the point, sometime wonder if she isn't the one that got the element of honesty. I got a friend like it, this doesn't make him a bad friend you just have to accept the flaws with the qualities.
@Anonymous I believe there are enough Bronies ready to create a meatshield about the size of the Great Wall of China between them and Fluttershy. If Rarity's fanboys can make their way in, I think Fluttershy's could. So yeeeeeah, she's safe xD
Seriously... WTF? How can anypony hate FLuttershy? I don't hate any of them, but the fandom seeming to take sides over and favor one pony over another is stupid. ALL the ponies have annoying and redeem qualities that balance them out. Deal with it. And yes, Rarity got what she deserved.

You'd think Heavy would be proud of somepony calling somepony else a baby, considering he does so on a regular basis.
