I can't believe nopony has commented on this yet. The pacing does take some getting used to, I will admit; but overall this is a well-done story.
It's been a while since I watched FMA, so it took me a little bit to place faces to all the names. After a while of reading, everything started to click.

3 steps to transmutation, analysis, deconstruction, reconstruction. We saw the last two a lot in the manga, therefor it was explained well, but I always assumed analysis would be an integrated part... But there was that one part with the Briggs automail... Fuckit, I give up alchemy. Nice fic, I like how you didn't rape mane characters. I wonder where you could go next.

I know it's unlikely, but I really hope eventually, after much convolution, Sinclair comes clean to Celestia and gets sent back to retrieve Wing Racer with some companions.
