So big shocker here. I did not know this song had a full music video at the time of Rainbow Rocks. Luckily for The Rainbooms, this music video turned out better than the actual performance from the movie. No spotlight or throat clogging confetti to speak of in this performance. Just some interesting dance themes and even more wild fashions that made the ending to Rainbow Rocks look tame. Since this is more of the “generic pop song” I guess I can say the moral would be to forget the rules and party. Sounds like a plan! Let’s get the tails shaking below.

Upon those very commendable words from Dandelion in the description, we dive into a new musical tribute from the dedicated musician, this time focusing on Luna's feelings as she was banished to the moon, with fitting sad melodies on the oboe. And that's not all, as the song is making a parallel with the current times IRL and us waiting for the end of the virus!
A successor to La Licorne Sophistiquee and Appletrax, this new release by Mitsukai is themed around Dashie this time and masterfully and lovingly using vocal samples of her, as well as custom lines made through 15.ai, to enact this fun experience! It feels like a window to Equestria, and you can hear Dashie working on music in her room using some magical DAW! That little exhange between Dashie and Rarity at 1:20 made me snrk, it's so funny and lovely, just the BEST!! And when the classic sample "Rainbow Dash always dresses in style" played I was like "Ooooh how is Dashie gonna respond" and it was so hilarious! Such initiatives are just so cute and brony-like!! This is my kind of pony music, I love it so much! And I hope that you will like it too! Also read the description for some interesting backstory and to see just how much dedication and effort Mitsukai poured into this! Let's hope Orbital Friendship Cannon could still happen!

And joining her is the prototype Celestia that we've been waiting for longer than I can remember. These two are taking the detailed figure concept to overdrive so far!

After CADENZA, the track focusing on Luna's character depth from GLIMM's PRINCESSES EP is here and gracing YouTube with its moonlit beauty! Happy Hardcore was such an interesting choice and the musician's own vocals are definitely pay much tribute to Luna (lyrics in the description). Cute and happy even if it's about being stuck on the moon, this sure is refreshing!

Description: What was supposed to be a day of laughter and joy for Spike ended in screams and terror. After receiving a tear-stained scroll from Twilight, Princess Luna and a Royal Guard relief force race towards Ponyville. While the Guard sets to rendering aid to the shaken town, Luna instead heads for the Golden Oak Public Library to render aid to the one she knows all too well needs it the most.
Artists around the fandom have already started creating boatloads of content for the new characters, but we need MORE! Lets celebrate them the way we used to way back in 2011 with a tsunami the likes of which the internet hasn't seen in a decade!
Your mission is to draw Izzy, Sunny, Pipp, or the stallion doing whatever you want. It can be all three or just one of them.
This time around we are only accepting drawings, so no tracing or graphic design. We will have an event for that later. Any skill level is welcome though, so feel free to use it as a practice outlet!

The official My Little Pony Movie Facebook page has offiically confirmed that the stallion revealed yesterday is named "Hitch Trailblazer" in a new little short animation that borrows heavily from the one we posted at the Toy Fair event. It basically just introduces all three of them.
We are still waiting on any information on the pegasus with the different colored wings. Most are calling her Zipp, which correlates with some information that released ages ago naming all three of them. Hopefully they will give us something to chew on with her soon!

Getting inspired by Alumx's stunning artwork featuring the newly unveiled G5 ponies, CAPT made such an Equestrian and cuddly song to celebrate the start of the festivities of the G5 hype now that we officially got content! The time has finally come to rejoice about the new generation, and dedicated pony musicians are here to respond to it with lovely tributes and musical fan works!! And that is something we will always be always to celebrate in our community, thanks to musicians like CAPT!

We are getting quite a few emails pointing out their names since they were lost in the flood, so lets just get a big post up all about it shall we?
Our new silly purple unicorn is Izzy Moonbow. Slayer of tennis balls apparently. And joining her is the character that seems to be the "Twilight" of this era, Sunny Starscout. I have a feeling Izzy is going to be the top pick in the best pony wars for until we get more reveals based on how much fan art she's getting.
And in other news, the stallion revealed yesterday still remains unnamed. We actually contacted Hasbro on that one and were told it's not ready to be revealed. Feel free to give him whatever weird things you want to call him in the meantime! A few people have mentioned something about strut, but I can't find any real source for it.
Expect a drawing event and poll about all three later.
Nostalgia ahoy! Those vocals especially make me reminiscent of the live mashups/remixes of EQG songs that Luvi van Beats/Kill Screen did during his Legends of Equestria live mixes! Today FazFent is the one making us shake our tail again, by way of this fun and upbeat remix that is quite appreciated!

The brushable line for Generation 5 has offiically been revealed via the Hasbro Brand presentation. I captured these pictures of a few of their offerings, including three different characters and multiple accessories you can expect to dress them up in. This looks to be where they are going for the "new" mold this time around, so expect loads of other characters in that style.

Hasbro just revealed another main character from their upcoming Nextlix Generation 5 My Little Pony Movie. I figuered I'd pop it up separate for all of you to discuss him! What do you think of the design? We will definitely be analyzing all of this later!

For everyone predicting that the 25th was going to be a BIG news day, well you were right!
It turns out that not only is the upcoming movie debuting exclusively on Netflix, but it is infact the start of Generation 5 for the My Little Pony franchise! Furthermore, the Generation 5 movie isn't the only thing heading to Netflix.
That's right folks, the Generation 5 My Little Pony TV Series will also premiere worldwide on Netflix!
To accompany this announcement, our friends at Hasbro provided Equestria Daily with the exclusive screenshot you see heading this article from the upcoming movie!
Hasbro also sent along a spoiler filled press release detailing the synopsis of the upcoming film, the names of the 2 brand new characters, and what has happened to the world of Equestria since we left Twilight Sparkle and her friends. You'll be able to find all that information after the break!
IT IS TIME - We liveblog the pony news!
We've had a trickle of information on the future of My Little Pony over the last few days, and now we unleash the flood!...hopefully. There is really no telling how much Hasbro will reveal at their investor presentation today. They tend to spread the reveals out to a bunch of random entertainment news sites, so expect some posts burying this one as we gather those up.
This is a three hour event covering ALL of Hasbro's brands, so expect some gaps in updates. I'll only be covering the pony relevant stuff to keep things simple to read here. Luckily it's a pretty big year for pony, so I'm guessing we will see quite a bit.
Anyway, head on down below! The presentation starts at 10 AM EST and ends at 1 PM EST. The liveblogging will happen whenever pony is brought up.

Many people have brought up just how much the picture revealed last night from the generation five Netflix pony movie. Sunny here is apparently our mane character this time around, so let's dive into her room in a slightly over-obsessed fan way shall we?
Is pretty obvious she's a huge mane 6 enthusiast. All around her room are cutie marks and posters of them. This seems to go along with what we know about her interest in bringing everyone back together now that the tribes are split again.
She also has a big Celestia canvass behind her bed, hinting that Sunbutt might be worshiped still, despite the synopsis hinting that leadership has long since changed with the segregated nations.
We also have quite a bit of earth pony friendly technology laying around, which is something I hope they really push as early generation 4 pony was always very charming with it's horses struggling with manipulating objects with their mouths. It's something that was lost as the series progressed. It will be interesting to see how the earth cities have adapted.
