Zephysonas has taken it upon himself to try some orchestral scoring, and here he's produced a score for doubleWbrothers' Sunset Shimmer Simulator comic that attempts to capture its many different emotions throughout the length of the piece. It's a cool concept, and managed pretty nicely with a fairly soft and sedate track that's nice to just sit back and enjoy. Check it out below!

Nightly Discussion #1507
by Calpain
As I mentioned on Twitter, Starlight here gives me sort of a Harry Potter feel...or if Edgeworth from Ace Attorney had an owl. Either or.
Evening guys! Ready to chat?

Continuing his awesome work so far, Nick Confalone has taken the helm on the next Equestria Girls special revealed at SDCC! If you missed the teaser for that one, you can find it over here. Expect more of his skills once it releases some time in the future. Unfortunately we don't have a date yet. Considering how surprising Rollercoaster of Friendship was, it could be any time.
Thanks to Dominick for the heads up.

That was stupidly fast as always.
We've got art, you want to see art! Unfortunately the compiler broke, or more Deviant Art / Google broke something involving it. One or the other. Expect things to be slightly weird since I had to do it manually.
Get it all below!

The creators over at fandom shop Lunar Shine have released a new wave of plushies, with one of them being Spotlight Splash! She's about 12 inches tall with Minky fabric throughout. They have a bunch of them heading to BronyCon to sell at their convention store, but she's orderable online now with an expected delivery of some time in August.
Their site ships anywhere, so if you can't make the trip, you can still get one. Thanks again to them for creating one!

As rare as his releases have been recently, HACKD's seriously impressed me with what he can do outside of his usual hardcore remit. Featuring vocal chops of a similar style to his last tune, the pairing with a gritty and grime-y neurofunk instrumental is really well done, with some lovely counterpoint between dark basses and bright vocals. Check it out below for a really cool piece of work!

Welcome, all my music loving bronies to the Followup for a sort of surprisingly timed "Yakity-Sax" featuring the yak loving pink party pony herself, Pinkie Pie. In this episode we get a bit of a heartwarming lesson about supporting your friends. Please join me and Pink Pone below on an emotional rollercoaster of Yak culture, yovidaphones, sensual bag rubbing, an OG friendship lesson, and possibly the return of Pinkamena!

Mighty Mugs brought a pony showing to SDCC this year, and their display for it is pretty crazy looking. The Rainbow Dash up above makes all sorts of facial expressions to match some of the offerings they will have on each of their figures. Right now it looks like everyone except Applejack is available. poor Applejack.
Get pictures of them all below!

Music: Daniel Ingram - Open Up Your Eyes (Arabesque Symphony & Osoch Cover) [Metal]
by ExplodingPonyToastA while ago Osoch did a pretty awesome cover of Open Up Your Eyes, and now Arabesque Symphony has taken his metal instrumental and given his own vocal performance on top of it. It's cool to see them using Osoch's work as a base, and the vocals definitely fit it well, and they sound excellent too. Check it out below!

As many in submit have pointed out, I totally missed the holiday clip in the post earlier with the SDCC teasers. So here you go! The holiday episode animatic for the upcoming special.
It starts at 4:57. The embed should point you there. If not, go fast forward to it or watch the whole thing. Up to you!

Morning Discussion #1281
by Calpain
As Seth seems to really like Somnambula I guess I should pay my Somnambula tax. He really needs to narrow his list of favorite ponies if I'm going to be paying all of these taxes!
Morning everyone. Sleep well?
