A relatively new pony musician entering the scene, DJ SkyStorm paid tribute to two of their favorite classics from the community, with instrumental remixes! The Beyond Her Garden remix is from february but it's my favorite of the two, with those emotional melodic parts happening throughout the track! That was quite creative, especially for a debut! And the Rainbow Factory remix just came out! I'm happy I got to find out about this musician because I happened to see the notification for them following Horse Music Herald's Twitter! Everypony if you happen to find such new pony musicians that I may not know about yet, feel free to let me know!!

Well this had to happen eventually. I was starting to run out of EqG shorts to do. But with this Follow Up, it will mark the last Equestria Girls specials when the original show came to a close. The sadness ensues. But we shall cast those sad feelings away because we are still here as a fandom and still having fun with G4, past generations, and beyond that. And strangely enough, that’s kind of what this special is really about. Reliving the moment. We’re getting new outfits for the girls, new characters, returning characters and a very common trope for anyone who is a fan of movies like Groundhog Day and Happy Death Day. And all circling around out favorite ketchup and mustard haired pseudo leader Sunset Shimmer. Well duh the special is named after her. Let’s see what kinds of magical madness is mucking up the music.

That's right! A song about Gummy for once! Although this one is more on the fun side, it is so creative with use of hilarious pony vocal samples and sure matches the humorous tones of the scenes in episode 100 when we heard Gummy thinking to himself about the meaning of life. Tadpole made it sound quite cool too, the synths are danceable and playful, and composition-wise it's top-notch! The concept was nailed for sure! Just imagine this playing inside Gummy's head! There needs to be more "Gummy! What should I bake? What should I bake?" (Pinkie's voice) though!
