We have a couple of pretty awesome dubstep tracks in this post, one original and one remix. First up Budzy brings on some bitcrushed basses that make up a powerful drop lead into by some show vocals about Daring Do that VooDoo helped to integrate into the track. It's always pleasing to hear new music from Budzy and his sound design just keeps getting better. The second piece is a remix from first-time feature Q-Sik of Einarx's track Guardian. Featuring an eclectic mix of sound design, it retains a lot of the melodic goodness of the original, as well as including a whole bunch of Fluttershy vocal chops from one of Einarx's other songs, Blastershy. Check them both out below!

Nightly Discussion #979

I still haven't watched the latest EqG movie, but I hear that SciTwi was pretty good in it! I really need to set some time aside to watch it.
Evening guys, have a good weekend I hope?

The greenlit pony game NIA: Path of Light has apparently run into money woes. After their Patreon didn't quite pick up as planned, both a programmer and musician have jumped ship. Unfortunately without their help, it looks like they have decided to close down based on a new patreon message:
It is with great regret to report that after the failure of levies patreon, left a programmer and musician, so has hired a new money I have no more, the project is closed!
Maybe something will happen to revive the project, but for now it looks like it's done.

Huzzah! After Welcome To The Show hit 100 million views in November, we now have "What My Cutie Mark Is Telling Me" hit the 100 million view mark over on the vast sea of videos that is YouTube.
With this we have the first song of the series proper hit the 100 million mark.
Thanks for everyone that send it in! You can relive the song over here or after the break.

Electronic Music: Filly In The Box - Struck [Electro] / Bluu - Breakaway [Melodic Dubstep]
by ExplodingPonyToastSome heavier electronic stuff here with a new electro track from FITB and some melodic dubstep from a relatively unheralded producer called Bluu. In the first slot FITB shows off his signature bass design with some pretty cool arrangement of sounds, and some effortless involvement of surreal vocal chops. The second slot has first-time feature Bluu with a track that builds up steadily with some nice composition and sounds before heading into a drop that retains the melodic nature of the buildup whilst adding in an aggressive bass sound too.

If you have been poking around at a few of our events these last few months, you may have noticed that we had a small Discord server running to help supplement the Artist Training Ground and National Pony Writing Month. It wasn't really anything we publicized much, and because of that largely went unused once each event concluded.
Quite a few people want something like this though, so we've decided to once again combine with Friendship is Gaming and migrate everyone from the events server over to a much larger one with many more active members for you all to chat with about various pony or other things, or group up with in whatever game you decide to play. We will most likely be running channels for various EQD goings ons there, along with the usual discussion chats from games to show discussion.
Anyway, if you want to join, download discord, then:

After 2 years of hacking away at the original source code for Fighting is Magic, with completed mane 6 and Trixie being added, the lead developer behind the variant version MEGA has received the unfortunate cease and desist email from Hasbro. He released a video announcing the news yesterday over on the official channel for the project.
Quite a few others are still out there trucking along, but a lot of people were looking forward to the continued updates from this one in particular due to how complete everything was looking. Here's hoping the legacy lives on elsewhere!

We haven't gotten a ton of these in the past few weeks, but it's a healthy amount. Head on down below for a bunch of neat scenes starring 3D ponies!

by ExplodingPonyToastWhat a collab! Following up from their first Christmas heist, Phonic, Rhyme Flow and Technickel are back with a second round featuring some guest vocals from Wootmaster as well. A groovy electro-style hip hop instrumental made by Phonic and Technickel serves to complement Rhyme and Woot's awesome rapping terrificially. And as an added bonus, the track comes with a lyric video made by Buffalo Brony and Blitz. Make sure to give it a listen if you want in on the heist!

If you missed the post a while back, Spotlight Splash now has an SFM model. This has unfortunately lead to her journey into the absolutely terrifying Crimes Against Nature mod for Fallout 4 (that we also posted previously), where a brave young wastelander has decided to represent EQD as he lays waste to the wasteland. Poor Spotlight Splash. At least she seems to be doing alright.
