When Fluttershy took Discord in to reform him I was unsure of it at first as I believe quite a few people were at the time. But as time has gone on I really have come to like the dynamic these two have together.

Hasbro continues their domination of Asian markets with another new one popping up over in Singapore called "TOYBOX", where various sets will be ereceted for each of their major brands. Of course, pony is making a big showing at this one, with the giant cardboard cutouts above and dedicated areas for kids to play and craft at.
Admission is completely free, so if you happen to be in the area around Sentosa while it happens this February, you can get the specific times and dates over here.

Due to issues in importing hundreds of thousands of comments, we've had to use external archives for all of the comments here on EQD created before the move to Disqus. After a bit of coding voodoo and updates on the importer over at Disqus, Gameleon has managed to import a whopping 95% of them into our current system. Magical moments in fandom history like this:
Are now fully viewable on posts from that era. This combines with the pre-Intense Debate comments to completely recover the vast majority of our history.
Feel free to scroll down to the bottom and dig through the archives. There are thousands of posts as mentioned during the anniversary. Though it looks like the Twilacorn post ended up as a hidden chat room for a while. You monsters.

A ton of people had a lot of fun with our Open Art event back during the holidays, so I figured I'd continue that trend with another one! Since we've run out of actual celebratory days outside of Valentines day, how about something I know many in the fandom take part in? Ponifying a video game character!
Your mission over the next 2 weeks is to pick a video game character, any video game character, and turn them into a cartoon horse! All skill levels are welcome, whether you are just learning or a pro. We will have an open art gallery at the end celebrating all who try it out!
Send your submission to Submit@equestriadaily.com with a link to the drawing on Deviant Art, Twitter, or Tumblr. The deadline is officially February 4th at 11:59 PM. I'll get the usual reminders out as time goes on.
As always, the usual basic rules:
- No Clop / fetishy stuff
- No heavy gore
- This is only for new drawings, don't send old stuff. You can however ponify a video game character that has already been ponified.
Now get out there and draw!
